Why the Big Tree pub?
When Jesus healed the sick He went out
into the marketplaces, the countryside, towns and cities to meet them.
We feel that by using the pub we are more able to bring Jesus where
people are. We are also following in the footsteps of John Wesley and
other preachers who, some 250 years ago, used to stay at the Booth farm,
located behind the Big Tree pub and river. He preached here in Woodseats
the same message of hope that we bring you today.
