What are Healing Rooms?
They are rooms that have been set up for
anyone to come to receive prayer for any sort of physical, emotional or
spiritual healing. Healing Rooms are being set up all over the world and
thousands of people are being set free from all sorts of illnesses
through the name of Jesus Christ.
How does it work?
Anyone is welcome to come for healing
prayer and no appointment is necessary. There is no charge made for this
service. You will be made welcome at reception and be asked what you
would like prayer for. You will then be brought into the prayer room
where the team will pray for you.
Who does the healing?
The bible tells us that Jesus gave His
followers the power and authority to go out and heal the sick (Luke 9
v1-2). So it’s us, as followers of Jesus, who have the authority to
heal the sick, through the power of God, in the name of Jesus.
Who are we?
We are ordinary Christians
from different churches and denominations throughout the city. The
Woodseats Healing Rooms team has been trained by, and works within the
guidelines of, the International Association of Healing Rooms founded in
Spokane, USA. Local church leaders also support and advise us.
Why are we doing this?
We believe that God calls all His
disciples to heal the sick. In Mark 16v18 Jesus told His followers that,
“They will place their hands on sick people and they will get well.” We
aim to be obedient to what the bible tells us to do. Many of the
Woodseats Healing Rooms team have personally experienced God’s healing
for themselves.
